Last updated: April 21, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how WebCred.io(“WebCred,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our online reputation management platform, websites, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Who we are
WebCred.io is a platform that helps agencies and businesses improve their online reviews, analyze sentiment with AI, detect employee mentions, and deliver branded dashboards and reports to their clients. Our Services are designed for business customers, their authorized users, and agency partners who provide reputation management services.
2. Information we collect
We collect information in the following categories:
- Account information — name, email address, password hash, phone number, company name, role, and profile photo you provide when you register or are invited to an account.
- Business and location data — business names, addresses, rooftop identifiers, staff rosters, and related configuration you or your agency upload or connect.
- Survey and feedback data — if you enable our surveys feature, we collect responses, contact information, and transaction context supplied by you, your customers, or your data feeds.
- Usage and device data — pages visited, features used, IP address, browser type, device identifiers, referring URLs, and similar telemetry collected through server logs and cookies.
- Communications — messages you send through the Services, demo requests, and support inquiries.
3. How we use information
- Provide, operate, secure, and improve the Services.
- Send transactional messages (account, billing, security) and, with your consent where required, product updates.
- Authenticate users, enforce access controls, and prevent abuse.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
- We do not sell personal information for third-party advertising.
4. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share personal information with third parties for their own independent marketing.
5. Data retention
We retain account data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, tax, and operational requirements. Aggregated review data may be retained in de-identified form for analytics and historical trending. You can request deletion of your personal information as described below.
6. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. California residents have specific rights under the CCPA/CPRA; residents of the EEA, UK, and Switzerland have rights under GDPR and equivalent laws. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the form linked at the bottom of this page. We will verify your identity before acting on a request.
7. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure how the Services are used, and protect against fraud. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the Services.
8. Security
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information — including encryption in transit, scoped access controls, role-based permissions, and routine backups. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted to us.
9. Children’s privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
10. International transfers
WebCred operates in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S. or any other country where we or our subprocessors operate. We rely on appropriate safeguards, including standard contractual clauses where applicable, for such transfers.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice through the Services or by email.
12. Contact us
